Contact NickTop — the editorial team desk with laptop and envelope

Contact NickTop by email at mail@nicktop.com. One inbox handles everything — corrections to a ranked list, a nickname you want removed, copyright claims, bug reports and press. A person reads every message, and we aim to reply within two business days.

How to contact NickTop by email

There is no contact form on this page on purpose. A form adds a script, a spam filter and a database table between you and us, and it hides the reply address. Plain email is faster and leaves you holding a copy of what you sent.

Write to mail@nicktop.com. Put the reason in the subject line so it lands in the right queue:

Subject line Use it for Include Typical reply
Correction A ranked list is wrong, out of date, or a nickname does not work in the game or app we say it does Page URL, the entry, what you saw instead 2 business days
Removal A nickname on the site is yours, targets you, or should not be listed Page URL, the exact entry, one line on why 2 business days
Copyright Something on the site infringes a work you own The material, the URL, proof you hold the rights 2 business days
Bug The generator, copy button or a page is broken Device, browser, what you tapped, what happened 2 business days
Press Interviews, data requests, permission to quote our figures Publication, deadline, what you need 3 business days

Two business days is our target, not a marketing promise. If a week passes with no answer, resend — a reply has occasionally been eaten by a spam filter on one side or the other.

Four things that get you a faster answer

Most slow replies are slow because we had to write back and ask for basics. Four details usually close a report in a single round:

  1. The page URL. Not the page title, not a screenshot of the title — the address from the browser bar.
  2. The exact entry. Paste the nickname itself into the email body rather than describing it. Decorated names differ by invisible characters that a description cannot capture.
  3. Where you tried to use it. A name that is rejected in one game may be perfectly valid in another; naming rules are set by each platform, not by us.
  4. Your device and browser. One line — “iPhone, Safari” or “Windows, Chrome” — separates a real bug from a font that is missing on one device.
Notepad, four sticky notes and a phone — what to include in a NickTop support request

Report a nickname or ask us to remove one

Send the page URL and the exact entry to mail@nicktop.com with Removal in the subject. You do not need a legal reason and you do not need an account. We remove an entry when it names or targets a real person, when it is abusive, when it is sexual content, or when it impersonates someone — and we will tell you what we decided either way.

Magnifying glass over a review list — report a nickname or request a takedown on NickTop
Removal requests are read by the editorial team, not by an automatic filter.

One thing worth checking before you report a display problem: a nickname that shows as empty boxes on your screen is usually not broken. Decorative characters are ordinary Unicode letters and symbols, and each device only draws the ones its installed fonts cover. The same entry often renders perfectly on a phone, or inside Instagram, and fails in a desktop browser. If you paste it somewhere else and it looks right, the entry is fine. If it looks wrong everywhere, that is a genuine defect — report it and we will pull it.

Email mail@nicktop.com with Copyright in the subject, identify the material and the URL it appears on, and tell us what right you hold. We act on complete claims quickly; we ask for clarification on vague ones rather than removing pages on suspicion.

On names themselves: NickTop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game or platform we write about. Free Fire, PUBG Mobile and Instagram are trademarks of their respective owners, and we use those names only to say which platform a nickname is meant for. The decorated characters on this site are Unicode letters and symbols, not fonts, and no one owns them.

Who runs NickTop

NickTop is run by the NickTop editorial team, a small independent group that builds and maintains the generator and curates the ranked lists. We are not a company front for a network, and we do not publish a named human author on ranking pages, because the rankings are produced by measured copy counts and editorial review rather than by one person’s opinion. You can see how that works from the leaderboard on NickTop.

We do not publish a postal address or phone number. There is no support phone line to call, and any page or message claiming to be NickTop phone support is not us.

What happens to the details you send us

Your email goes to one mailbox, is read by the editorial team, and is used only to answer you. We do not sell it, add it to a mailing list, or pass it to a third party. Threads about a removal or a copyright claim are kept as a record of the decision; ordinary questions are deleted once they are answered.

Separately, and for clarity, here is what the site itself records while you use it:

  • Nicknames you save stay in your browser. The heart button writes to your own device’s local storage. That list is never sent to us and disappears when you clear your browser data.
  • The generator counts nicknames, not people. When a name is generated we increment a daily counter for that name — the text, the date, the number of builds. There is no account, no email address and no IP address in that table. It exists so the “most copied” ranking reflects what visitors actually use instead of what we guess.
  • Comments, where a page has them, follow standard WordPress behaviour: the name and email you type are stored with the comment.

What we cannot help with

We do not recover hijacked game or social accounts, we cannot change a name inside a game for you, and we cannot lift a rename cooldown or a platform ban. Those are handled by the platform’s own support, and no third-party site can do it for them. We also cannot tell you whether a specific name is still free on a platform — only that platform’s sign-up field can answer that, and the answer changes by the minute.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a reply take?

Two business days for most messages, three for press. Weekends and public holidays are not business days. If a week passes, resend the message.

Can I ask you to add a nickname to a list?

Yes. Send it with Correction in the subject and say which page it belongs on. Suggestions are judged the same way as everything else on the site: does it work on the platform, does it render, and is it actually good.

Do you accept guest posts or paid links?

No. We do not publish guest articles, sponsored posts, or paid links, and we do not answer link-exchange offers. Emails about them are deleted unread.

Is there a phone number or a live chat?

No. Email is the only channel, and it is monitored by the same people who edit the site.

The generator gave me a name my game rejected. Is that a bug?

Usually not. Each platform sets its own limits on length and on which characters it accepts, and those limits change with game updates. Send the name, the platform and the error message with Bug in the subject and we will check whether the entry needs a warning label or removal.
